Judith Strunk
Judith Lynn Strunk, MSN/2000 – Family Nurse Practitioner, and 1978 GVSU (Nursing), 1985 GVSU (Geology), 1991 MSU (Geology), DNP/2010 Oakland University, is an Assistant Professor for the MSU College of Nursing. As such, Judith is very familiar with the College and its programs and can easily speak to prospective/current students about the College of Nursing. She is on the Undergraduate   Program Committee, is a donor to the Nursing General Scholarship fund as well as MSU Safe House, and served as a peer reviewer the past two years. Prior to CON, Judith was an RN/Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner at Sparrow Hospital, and an Instructor at Ferris State University and Baker College. She has also served as a Staff Nurse for Spectrum Health in Grand Rapids, Mercy Hospital in Cadillac, and Lansing’s Sparrow Hospital in the areas of Obstetrics and Neonatal Intensive Care. She recently had an article published in the Journal of Forensic Nursing titled "Knowledge, Attitudes and Beliefs of Pre-nursing and Nursing Students about Sexual Assault". Judith is excited about the opportunity to be involved with other College of Nursing alumni on a regular basis.
